When to Recertify
Your CSRN™ certificate is valid for two years from the date it was issued. Recertifying before it lapses keeps your verification record continuous — an employer or surveyor checking your status sees an unbroken history rather than a gap to explain. There is no waiting period and no re-application process beyond the course itself: sign in, complete the current curriculum, and a new certificate issues automatically once you pass. If your certificate has already lapsed, there is no penalty and no separate reinstatement step — recertifying works the same way either way.
